IshEyeLike Polygon Art
I’m always a little in awe of artists and designers. Although I’ve always thought of myself as a creative, I’ve never been very good at creating actual works of art – that is if you don’t count the countless pages of doodles in every notebook I own (and you shouldn’t – they’re awful, even for doodles.)
Recently I’ve been a little obsessed with these works of Polygon Art that were created by designer Tanya Hirst. Tanya is an incredible designer and I’m in love with both her and her work – in fact she designed my Lucy Sarah logo and a lot of this site. She started making these Polygon pictures as a side project on IshEyeLike, which is a creative space for everything that she likes and enjoys. They started off simple but you can see from her Instagram how they’ve progressed and slowly become more complex as she’s gotten even better at them. Sometimes she even creates them with a specific person in mind – like this wolf that she made for me. I have a slight wolf obsession and a wolf tattoo on my ribs, and I can’t wait to have this guy framed on my wall. Don’t you think he’s beautiful?
Here are a few of her other creations:
This Avo was created for the lovely ladies over at The Kitchen Thief.
If you’d like to get in touch with Tanya for orders or commissions, or even just to tell her how great she is, you can reach her at email@example.com and follow her on Instagram.
